Dual view file manager for macOS

Panels allows users to interact with macOS local file systems using two view instances placed side by side called panels. The concept is dates back during console application times and is an elegant solution to avoid desktop clutter.

Highlights:

  • Each panel has a navigation and a status bar which allows user to change context and monitor file system operations.
  • Drag and drop is supported between panels and between Panels and external applications.
  • The user can use the keyboard and Touch Bar to navigate through file system content, switch the active panel and execute actions.
